indie Semiconductor is a fabless semiconductor company specializing in the design of innovative mixed-signal System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions for automotive applications.

The IT/Network manager will be responsible for the administration and internal support of the Company's global network mesh, global network projects/implementations. This role will report to the Director of IT and will develop / implement the global network strategy for our sites. The role will also provide day to day support to the Auburn Hills office, developing and launching global device imaging solutions/standards, managing IT procurement for US sites and learning new tools and technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage network security to ensure the protection of the company's assets and private information.

  • Oversees the implementation, testing and analysis of all elements of the network facilities including software, communication, VPN and hardware.

  • Develops, initiates, maintains, and revises policies, procedures, standards and documentation related to supported systems.

  • Provide technical assistance and support to resolve all hardware/software related issues

  • Coordinate PC repairs, software/hardware installations, delivery of new equipment

  • Work closely within Indie's global IT team to ensure timely end-user support and quality of service

  • Configure, install, troubleshoot, repair, update and maintain all desktops, laptops, mobile devices

  • Provide network support for all offices, global travel will be necessary

  • Support/Develop DR strategies for global connectivity

  • Supports onboarding of new employees

  • Produces KPI reports for key items

  • Use critical thinking skills to meet all job requirements and insure project management success for the organization.

  • Establish effective, professional business relationships with all levels of management and customers.

  • Provide technical support for software applications and hardware including but not limited to Server, SAN, Network, UPS, and VoIP equipment

  • All other duties assigned by management

  • 3 years in a supervisory role

  • 5 years supporting network topologies

  • 3+ years working with Unified Switching

  • Experience with Wireless Lan Controllers

  • 5+ years working with IT Service management tools

  • 5+ years providing support for engineering environments

  • Microsoft Windows Server up to and including 2019

  • Office365 administration

  • VMWare or other Virtualized Server Environments

  • Firewalls, VPNs & WiFi (Eg. SonicWall, Cisco & Meraki)

  • Microsoft Windows 10, CentOS, RHLE, MAC OS

  • 3-5 yrs Industry experience as a IT Engineer, Network Engineer, or Systems Admin

  • Diploma/certificate in information technology or similar or 8+ years of professional experience

  • Solid background in network administration and architecture
