indie is an Autotech solutions innovator. We focus on edge sensors spanning multiple modalities including LiDAR, radar, ultrasound and vision for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), autonomous vehicles, connected car, user experience and electrification applications.
We are seeking a talented hardware design engineer to join our indie radar systems team. Focus of the position is architecture and hardware design for mixed-signal radar backends. This involves the design, managing the production cycle, bring-up and testing of NF-backend boards, which include the interface to the RF-frontend, different high-speed interfaces (e.g., MIPI, 10 Gbit Ethernet), control signals and busses (e.g. different GPIO signals, SPI), power supply circuits and a FPGA/MCU or the connection to one of those.
Staff engineers are expected to work across geographies with a high level of autonomy, identifying and requesting resources to finish their projects. You will participate in the development and evaluation of radar systems for advanced future radar applications.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop challenging and innovative RFICs in a fast-growing startup environment, where your contribution directly drives the success of the automotive radar team and indie Semiconductor as a whole.
Job Responsibilities:
Analysis of system level requirements and derivation of solutions for challenging technical and product requirements.
Developing complex mixed-signal electrical designs involving high speed digital interfaces, analog circuitry and power supply design.
Owning the design cycle of PCBs; architecture/system definition, component selection, schematic design, simulation, layout, bring-up, verification and manufacturing
Documenting and implementing best practices for hardware development
In an agile development environment, you will be part of our team to strive towards best performance and stability of our innovative radar demonstrators.
You will collaborate with teams from different departments and sites in an international environment.
Some travel will be required, including international.
