indie is an Autotech solutions innovator. We focus on edge sensors spanning multiple modalities including LiDAR, radar, ultrasound and vision for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), autonomous vehicles, connected car, user experience and electrification applications.
Today’s Radar chipsets have a strong system and software content, with typically more than 50% of the development team working those areas. Within the Radar BU, you will be responsible for systems engineering at the platform level.
Product Requirements Document
Review and analyze customer PRD to identify essential specifications
Understand Industry standards (as applicable) minimum performance requirements
Create internal overall system spec. document based on top-down analysis within the JAMA framework
Define the overall System architecture
Support the development of functional safety concepts and system-level functional safety mechanisms
Functional Block partitioning
Interface requirements, target power budget
Support system-level modeling, system-level test plan, and design validation
Analyze design sensitivity to impairments, document potential areas to focus on during design phase
Closely work with the simulation and signal processing team to verify key building blocks.
Customer support, system integration
Support customer requirements analysis
Performance validation and compliance

BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of experience managing complex integrated circuit development projects.
3+ years of experience in professional system design and architecture.
Good knowledge of either radar or lidar systems.
IC and Systems design experience is a plus to assess design trade-offs, technical risks.
Must possess strong leadership and communication skills to work with cross-functional system development teams to meet internal and customer commitments.
Experience with product development cycles (concept to production).
