indie Semiconductor is a fabless semiconductor company specializing in the design of innovative mixed-signal System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions for automotive applications.

We develop custom and standard SoC solutions for automotive applications which integrate advanced digital ICs (Arm®Cortex® MCUs and/or DSP) with mixed-signal devices into a single System-in-Package (SiP). The mixed signal can include power management, RF, high voltage as well as high speed convertors allowing us to provide complete solutions to our international customer base.

As an NPI Planning Administrator at indie Semiconductor, you will be a key team member of the Product  Engineering team responsible for supporting in the areas of logistics in product development phases.  A strong semiconductor product manufacturing process background and the ability to collaborate with  internal cross functional teams, multiple vendors at different geographical location worldwide are  essential to the success of this position.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage NPI portfolios and liaison with product engineers and  fab/assembly/test/reliability vendors from packaging solution development, pre-qual to  prototype towards pre-production/production.

  • Forecast engineering inventory at wafer and assembly levels. Plan, schedule, monitor, and  expedite engineering wafer and prototype assemblies; generate and publish status reports. 

  • Meet all requirements and schedules by working closely with new product development team  members. 

  • Execute ordering, manage logistic and inventory procurement and BOMs of NPI products at  foundry, assembly, test and reliability service vendors.

  • Keep track of assembly build requests, POs, work orders and process and procedure  documentation control, and engineering change notices.

  • Ensure all aspects and checklist of manufacturing and procurement are established at internal  and OSAT locations, including test hardware, documentation, test program transfer and release  process, and MSA/Gage R&R study for smooth transferring to Operations.

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experiences in semiconductor industry

  • Knowledge of semiconductor product manufacturing and process involved from NPI to  production

  • Strong background in automotive product manufacturing process, quality control in assembly  process, wafer probing, ATE production test solution development

  • Exceptional team and communication skills to interface with internal cross-functional teams and  subcontractors: Foundries, Assembly and Test Houses, Reliability and Qualification Test Vendors

  • Detail-oriented and performance-driven coordinator who provides operational and  manufacturing expertise
