ATE Test Lab Technician

indie Semiconductor is a fabless semiconductor company specializing in the design of innovative mixed-signal System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions for automotive applications.
We develop custom and standard SoC solutions for automotive applications which integrate advanced digital ICs (Arm®Cortex® MCUs and/or DSP) with mixed-signal devices into a single System-in-Package (SiP). The mixed signal can include power management, RF, high voltage as well as high speed convertors allowing us to provide complete solutions to our international customer base.
We are looking for a 2nd shift full-time or part-time ATE Test Lab Technician that can help us organizing and managing our ATE lab activities. You will be in charge to support the Test and Product Engineers as well maintain the lab environment up to date to ensure high productivity and efficient work. You will report to the Staff Product Engineering.
Enforce lab safety and compliance policies.
Perform manual and/or handler, especially test requests of IC in ATE and/or Bench.
Organize, audit, and manage the lab environment, identify and recommend creative ways to leverage and/or enhance existing practices.
Perform inventory and tracking of all engineering lots, tools, commonly use items and equipment.
Maintain and follow up all maintenance and calibration of electrical lab equipment.
Assemble, disassemble, and troubleshoot electrical circuits down to the component level. Solder and rework (fine pitch components. 0201, 0402, QFN, BGA, etc.).
Perform other duties as assigned.

BA degree in Electronic Technology or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2+ years of industry experience with IC handling, electrical and mechanical assembly and electrical troubleshooting.
Experience with IC test on ATE/Bench, manual and/or handler is a plus.
Bench test knowledge with test equipment like power supply and oscilloscopes is a plus.
Experience working in an IC engineering lab.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Apps.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to write reports.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to perform physically demanding work such as moving and lifting equipment, standing for long periods of time, etc..
