Vision - Verification Manager (ASIC)

indie is an Autotech solutions innovator. We focus on edge sensors spanning multiple modalities including LiDAR, radar, ultrasound and vision for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), autonomous vehicles, connected car, user experience and electrification applications.

Our design team develops custom and standard SoC solutions for automotive applications which integrate advanced digital ICs (Arm®Cortex® MCUs and/or DSP) with mixed-signal devices into a single System-in-Package (SiP). The mixed signal can include power management, RF, high voltage as well as high-speed converters allowing us to provide complete solutions to our international customer base.

VisionQ, a business unit of indie Semiconductor, is responsible for creating power-efficient System-on-Chip (SoC) ASIC devices for the automotive market.

As an ASIC verification manager in the VisionQ team, you will have the opportunity to bring to market cutting edge System-on-Chip solutions with targeting the ADAS market.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a multi-site engineering team in pre-silicon design verification

  • Liaise with architects and design engineers to capture verification requirements

  • Set verification methodology for roadmap of ADAS silicon

  • Develop and execute on verification and test plans

  • Drive functional verification closure and set/meet coverage goals

  • Support FPGA validation activities and post-silicon bring-up effort

  • Set up and monitor continuous improvement infrastructure like “Jenkins”

  • Mentor junior engineers and interns

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering (MS preferred)

  • 15+ years of progressive hands-on experience in SoC verification & validation

  • Complete life cycle experience with multiple advanced technology node SoCs

  • Understanding of ARM processor architecture

  • Understanding of bus protocols and industry standard interfaces

  • Knowledge of “Network on Chip” techniques for ASIC data plane architecture

  • Understanding of low-power verification (UPF/CPF etc.)

  • Strong knowledge System Verilog, C/C++, Python/Perl, and UVM methodology

  • Knowledge of automotive functional safety and reliability highly desirable

  • Excellent communication skills
