indie is an Autotech solutions innovator. We focus on edge sensors spanning multiple modalities including LiDAR, radar, ultrasound and vision for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), autonomous vehicles, connected car, user experience and electrification applications.
Our design team develops custom and standard SoC solutions for automotive applications which integrate advanced digital ICs (Arm®Cortex® MCUs and/or DSP) with mixed-signal devices into a single System-in-Package (SiP). The mixed signal can include power management, RF, high voltage as well as high speed convertors allowing us to provide complete solutions to our international customer base.
VisionQ, a business unit of indie Semiconductor, is responsible for creating power-efficient System-on-Chip (SoC) ASIC devices for the automotive market.
Job Responsibilities:
Pre-silicon validation of SoC designs on FPGA platforms
Working with the ASIC design & verification team to run test cases on FPGA hardware
Development and maintenance of bench testing automation software infrastructure
Generation and documentation of functional test reports
Bring-up and debugging of ASICs on evaluation boards

Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Electrical/Computer Engineering with 15+ years of hands-on experience in silicon validation & characterization
Strong laboratory skills, including familiarity with equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, are required
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and Perl is required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as a proactive approach to problem solving since much of the product design cycle involves interaction across multiple functional areas, geographies and time zones
Prior experience with automotive protocols such as CAN FD, and validation of ASICs targeting the automotive market is highly desirable
