indie is an Autotech solutions innovator. We focus on edge sensors spanning multiple modalities including LiDAR, radar, ultrasound and vision for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), autonomous vehicles, connected car, user experience and electrification applications.

indie is seeking a Total Rewards Director to analyze, manage and execute all aspects of the Company’s compensation programs. The ideal candidate will assist with managing vendor administration/relationships and engage with vendors throughout the year to support various total rewards programs, as well as identify and recommend opportunities for improvements to existing systems and processes, driving efficiencies. The role also requires attention to detail to ensure compliance with applicable government reporting regulations and requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supports the effective design and administration of indie Semiconductor global compensation, benefits, recognition, and employee wellness programs aligned with company strategy.

  • Partners with Human Resources and managers on all compensation related matters, such as, base pay, incentives, compensation analyses, compensation tools, merger and acquisition integration, and other compensation related policies, programs, and strategies.

  • Participate in yearly compensation survey submissions.

  • Evaluates jobs, documenting responsibilities and requirements in job descriptions, including FLSA reviews.

  • Assists in preparing compensation recommendations for new hires, promotions, transfers, and other compensation actions.

  • Participates in administration of annual performance management, incentive, or merit increase programs.

  • Supports the day-to-day administration for all global benefit programs and events, including collaborating with vendors to find solutions, resolving issues, ensuring data integrity, open enrollment, and other events, etc.

  • Audits HR data regularly to ensure data integrity across all systems. Partners with payroll for ongoing benefits programs audits.

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 7 years' experience in the administration of compensation and global benefit programs.

  • Successful track record of managing the Total Rewards for a high-growth, international organization

  • Specific experience in compensation planning, research, policy development and program design including health and welfare benefits, base and incentive pay.

  • Experience managing the annual Benefits Open Enrollment process from negotiation to implementation.

  • Knowledge of HR, Benefits, and applicable federal and state laws and regulations including by not limited to ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, COBRA, and Workers' Compensation.
