indie is an Autotech solutions innovator. We focus on edge sensors spanning multiple modalities including LiDAR, radar, ultrasound and vision for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), autonomous vehicles, connected car, user experience and electrification applications.
The position offers the opportunity to be part of an international accounting and finance team encompassing all legal entities within the indie Semiconductor group and to take over multiple tasks as well as the support of other entities.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the entire financial accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger accounts) including the reconciliation of accounts for two international subsidiaries in Europe and Africa, if applicable, other entities.
Responsibility for the preparation and auditing of invoices.
Carrying out the payment transactions as part of cash management.
Responsibility for the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in coordination with our international Finance team at different sites.
Preparation and execution of sales tax (VAT) returns.
First point of contact for authorities, auditors and tax consultants.

Successfully completed a degree in a relevant field of study – Accounting or Finance. Other business related degrees will be considered.
Ideally 1-2 years of professional experience in an international company in a comparable position in accounting.
Sound knowledge of accounting standard - UK GAAP and/or US GAAP.
Affinity for working with various IT programs, especially Office 365.
Fast learner and excellent analytical skills as well as a hands-on mentality.
Prior experience with an ERP system – NetSuite is a bonus.
Confident communicator.
