indie is an Autotech solutions innovator. We focus on edge sensors spanning multiple modalities including LiDAR, radar, ultrasound and vision for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), autonomous vehicles, connected car, user experience and electrification applications.
Our design team develops custom and standard SoC solutions for automotive applications which integrate advanced digital ICs (Arm®Cortex® MCUs and/or DSP) with mixed-signal IPs into a single System-in-Package (SiP). Mixed signal IPs can include power management, RF, high voltage as well as high speed convertors allowing indie to provide highest integrated solutions to our international customer base.
We are seeking a talented, results-oriented individual to contribute to a growing design team focused on design validation, testing and application engineering focused on our automotive wireless charging products and roadmap. The successful candidate should have a basic understanding of EE concepts and a deep understanding of software development and software test systems and processes for embedded applications. The team member plays a critical role in developing and implementing Software evaluation test programs for indie's chipsets contributing to the quality of indie’s products. Close collaboration with IC, hardware, software, test and qualification teams is required.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborating with software developers to develop software specifications and controls
Designing manual and automated test procedures to evaluate each software product
Working with embedded software engineers in designing manual and automated test procedures to evaluate each IC
Building, coding, and implementing software evaluation test programs
Running test programs to ensure that testing protocols evaluate the software correctly
Completing final tests and creating test reports
Software configuration management and software integration

Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering, electrical engineering, or a similar field
Experience working with some of the scripting languages which are widely used in software test development, such as Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, Ruby etc.
Ability to design and write complex software testing procedures
Strong attention to detail
Ability to collate data and compile test reports
Proven work experience in creating and maintaining software test systems and setup is a plus
Familiarity with software development processes and configuration tools
Demonstrated problem-solving skills
Good communication skills
High-level documentation skills
Knowledge of MISRA C/C++ rules and automotive SPICE is a plus
Experience in software configuration management is a plus
