Support and Test Engineer (Industrial Radar Products)

Job Overview:
Symeo, an indie Semiconductor company, is a developer and manufacturer of innovative radar devices for industrial applications. We specialize in precise sensor systems and robust radar solutions for position detection, distance measurement, collision avoidance, and telemetry. This position will report to our Symeo team.
As part of a cross-functional support and test team, you will interact with other essential disciplines, test teams, and production.

Job Responsibilities:
Checking, commissioning, maintenance and repair of our Symeo devices and systems in our laboratoryand in the field internationally
Processing of customer service cases and documenting them in our ticketing system
Supporting our customers on technical issues by e-mail, on the phone and on site
Development of product-specific test concepts, definition and documentation of test sequences
Design, planning, commissioning and maintenance of test benches and test software up to the handover to our outsourced productionfacilities
Analysing test results and failure analyses of hard- and software with lessons learnedand improvement actions for production processes and manufacturing concepts
Job Requirements
Bachelor Electrical Technology or Professional (“Techniker”) with experience in test bench development
Relevant professional experience with customer interaction, preferably in an industrial environment
Expertise in programming with Python, C#, Bash and well-versed Linux knowledge
Hardware background required, RF experience is a plus
Reading and analysing complex circuit diagrams
Fluent in Germanand very goodEnglish communication skills
Willingness to travel at home and abroad (~20% travel time)
Driver’s license
