Senior Sales Manager - Asia Pacific

Job Overview:

Symeo, an indie Semiconductor company, is a developer and manufacturer of innovative radar devices for industrial applications. We specialize in precise sensor systems and robust radar solutions for position detection, distance measurement, collision avoidance, and telemetry. This position will report to our Symeo team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Consulting and support of customers and OEMs in the Asia Pacific region (without China)

  • Order acquisition, realization of first-fill business with OEMs, securing and expanding business

  • Responsibility for sales in the defined business area, respectively the defined customers, OEMs and potentials

  • Determination of market potential and target groups

  • Acquisition of new customers in different industry sectors (steel, automation, ports, agriculture, infrastructure etc.) 

Job Requirements

  • Technically sound basic knowledge, particularly of radar sensors, acquired through engineering or technical studies or, alternatively, equivalent skills acquired in practice.

  • Intense commercial knowledge

  • Several years of experience in the sale of products and solutions requiring explanation and intensive consultation

  • Entrepreneurial personality, with a professional customer-oriented attitude, who is determined, persevering and confident in negotiations as well as cooperative and convincing

  • Conceptual, strategic and analytical thinking skills

  • Willingness to make decisions and personal responsibility

  • Business fluent in English (Korean or Japanese a plus)

  • Willingness for intense travel
