indie Semiconductor is a fabless semiconductor company specializing in the design of innovative mixed-signal System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions for automotive applications. We develop custom and standard SoC solutions for automotive applications which integrate advanced digital ICs (Arm®Cortex® MCUs and/or DSP) with mixed-signal devices into a single System-in-Package (SiP). The mixed signal can include power management, RF, high voltage as well as high speed convertors allowing us to provide complete solutions to our international customer base.
You will work within a highly motivated development team for microelectronic systems for innovative automotive products.
Job Responsibilities:
Development of concepts and strategies for EMC-Evaluation, based on product specifications and EMC standard requirements
Creation, planning and realization of the EMC evaluation concept and setup for IC EMC evaluation
Deployment of requirements to the EMC-Hardware and software
Responsible for the dedicate EMC-evaluation environment, the required Hard- und Software: e.g. EMV receiver, antennas, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF Signal generators
Introduction and development of automated EMC- measurement environment
Documentation of the EMC-measurement results and technical review in comparison to the data of the customer
Select and manage 3rd party labs, define test plan and verify results

Concluded education as “Technician – Electrotechnics” or degree in electrical engineering, electronics, physics or related fields
Ideally 3+ years of experience in the area of EMC, lab characterization and evaluation of analogue and digital circuits
Experience in electromagnetic interference and compatibility (EMI/EMC) background, test, troubleshooting, and EMC qualification for complex electronic systems
Understanding the standards: Generic IC EMC Test Specification (BISS), IEC EN 61000, ISO 11452, IEC 61967-1, knowledge of OEM’s EMC requirements.
Problem solving and technical skills that contributes to the organizational growth and success
Excellent knowledge in automation of evaluation with software, e.g. Python
Base understanding of mixed-signal semiconductor circuit technology
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
Fluent in English and German, spoken and written
