indie is an Autotech solutions innovator. We focus on edge sensors spanning multiple modalities including LiDAR, radar, ultrasound and vision for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), autonomous vehicles, connected car, user experience and electrification applications.
The design team at indie Semiconductor develops custom automotive centric ICs using ARM Cortex-M based microcontrollers and integrate Analog and mixed signal, RF and Power Management IPs bringing a complete solution to our international customer base. The engineer in this position will join a team of highly competent engineers that are creating brand new designs in the field of Wireless and USB power delivery, sensing systems, connectivity (LIN, CAN, Ethernet) with MCU technologies within the car. The Program Manager (PGM) / Project Manager leads the ASIC core team on a project-based execution to ensure schedule, cost and quality of all the deliverables are met. The Program Manager must be able to manage multiple projects at various stage of development from product definition to production ramp.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the design planning and execution of mixed-signal, power and RF IC products across all facets of design from concept to production ramp. It may also include overseeing new IP development within an ASIC Project.
Represent the ASIC team in interfacing with senior management, product management, and customers including regular reporting and escalation when required.
Champion the development & deployment of best practices to improve program performance, efficiency, and produce repeatable results across a growing business.
Support the Technical Lead (Chip Lead) of the ASIC development to ensure a smooth program execution.
Ensure Engineering Project Management follow company gate review process.
Drive accountability and awareness, solve problems, remove roadblocks, and proactively search out and address risks or weaknesses to ensure the project meets quality standards and completes on time and in budget.
Responsible for end-to-end project planning and management with a focus on execution to meet company goals and deadlines.
Enable communication & visibility to ensure alignment at all levels of the organization, spearhead corporate initiatives supporting various lateral organization such as Marketing, Quality, Test Engineering, Logistic, etc.

MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Microelectronics or similar
10+ years of experience managing complex integrated circuit development projects
Strong project management and program management fundamentals, understanding of product- and process development in terms of project initiation, planning and tracking, including reporting and documentation
Must possess strong leadership and communication skills to work with cross-functional silicon development teams to meet internal and customer commitments
Project Management Certification acc. to IPMA, PMI
Experience with IC product development cycles, concept to production, Automotive development environment including Functional Safety Requirements (ISO26262)
English skills (business fluent)
