(Senior) Reliability Engineer

indie is an Autotech solutions innovator. We focus on edge sensors spanning multiple modalities including LiDAR, radar, ultrasound and vision for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), autonomous vehicles, connected car, user experience and electrification applications.
As a Reliability Engineer at indie, you will plan, execute, subcontract reliability tests for indie products in all product life cycle stages, balancing time, qualitative outcome, and cost. This includes stress HW and SW. You will analyze test results, maintain the reliability data base and initiate corrective actions to continuously improve field reliability of our products.
Job Responsibilities:
Align with design team on chip functionality and reliability requirements
Develop and check appropriate stress HW (schematics, boards, sockets, power supply, …) and SW (stress pattern, FW) specific for every product and according to automotive requirements
Conduct hands-on laboratory work using indie own lab tools for rel stress (HTSL, HTOL, TC, THB, HAST, ...)
Subcontract any service which is not available in indie internal rel lab (stress boards, specific stress tests)
Ensure high quality and timely execution of requested reliability investigations (engineering-, pre- and qualification tests) including detailed reporting of results
Organize measurements (initial, intermediate, final) of DUTs and analyze test results; maintain adequate data base; ensure traceability for DUTs
Ensure that reliability equipment is running, maintained, calibrated properly (tool ownership),
Ensure efficient communication with several stakeholders internally
Train and coach peers in the area of your expertise
Drive continuous improvement by developing, adapting and implementing flows and appropriate methods and equipment

Masters degree (MSc) in Engineering (Micro - Electronics, Electronics, Physics etc.) or equal through experience
Knowledge on electro-technics, physics, chemistry and/or material science
Theoretical and practical knowledge of rel test standards (AEC-Q, JEDEC, MIL etc)
Knowledge of reliability models for Si devices, in test of electronic devices, in failure analysis and/or chip design
Preferably experience in international working environment
Basic Project Management skills
Fluency in English and German
