indie is an Autotech solutions innovator. We focus on edge sensors spanning multiple modalities including LiDAR, radar, ultrasound and vision for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), autonomous vehicles, connected car, user experience and electrification applications.

This role is based in our rapidly expanding Edinburgh Design Centre – and we need your skills and experience to help us reach our full potential. As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to be involved in a broader range of activities than those described below, and will have the opportunity to work with global partners across our business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Providing first point of contact for HR queries, providing advice to support the Edinburgh Design Centre Manager and wider team.

  • Manage the recruitment process, working closely with the Edinburgh Design Centre Manager to plan, review and actively carry out the recruitment processes. This will involve, writing job specifications, managing job advertisement across online platforms and on the company website, liaising with the Hiring Managers and candidates to arrange interviews, following candidates throughout the recruitment process from start to finish, ensuring the legal compliance of the recruitment process throughout.

  • Providing commercially focused and pragmatic advice in HR and employment issues (e.g. conflict solving, health and safety).

  • Providing administrative support – working closely with the Edinburgh Design Centre Manager and other departments (e.g. finance) to ensure the smooth running of the office.

  • You will be a talented and confident individual with a generalist HR background, looking to take the next step in their career.

  • You will be a highly motivated self-starter who takes a pragmatic approach to their work.

  • You will have current HR experience - ideally CIPD qualified - with previous experience of SME business environments.

  • You will have a good understanding of current employment law and be able to advise and guideline managers on best practice.

  • You will have effective people skills building trust, rapport, and confidence with the local working environment and with HR Personnel and key stakeholders across the group.

  • You will be a proactive multi-tasker and be willing to take on a wider administrative role to ensure the smooth running of the office.

We will consider candidates on a full time or part time basis (minimum of 25 h per week). We are offering a highly competitive salary dependent on skills and experience – range £35-40K per annum as full time equivalent (pro rata for part time candidates) and a benefits package including pension and a generous holiday entitlement.
