Automotive Product Cybersecurity Manager

indie is an Autotech solutions innovator. We focus on edge sensors spanning multiple modalities including LiDAR, radar, ultrasound and vision for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), autonomous vehicles, connected car, user experience and electrification applications.
The Automotive Product Cybersecurity Manger (APCM) at indie Semiconductor joins the team at the center of the automotive security culture. As the APCM, you will ensure cybersecurity development, engineering process and implementation of cybersecurity attributes in System/SW/HW architecture. You will coordinate the engineering groups of various customer projects and broad range of competencies in the right direction and according to relevant standards (ISO/SAE21434) and technical development. This position provides the independent oversight to meet the requirements of ISO21434.
Directing engineers and external stakeholders engaged on the program and project work.
Act as gate keeper at each lifecycle phase.
Audit and assess the product cybersecurity work products for the assigned project.
Develop, tailor, and maintain the security plan.
Schedule the confirmation reviews defined within the security plan.
Plan and conduct the Cyber Security assessment with the program/project manager
Manage 3rd party audits and assessments.
Ensure the adherence to the security plan
Train engineering teams about automotive cybersecurity engineering.

BS/MS in natural science, Applied Physics, Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
5+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry (e.g. design, test, quality); however, highly motivated, open-minded new starters are welcome as well
5+ years of experience working to J3061/SAE/ISO 21434, with strong knowledge of cybersecurity theory and specific on-the-job experience.
The successful candidate must have strong manufacturing and quality engineering skills, data analysis skills as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Reliable, accurate and customer-oriented mindset with excellent skills on documentation systems
Strong understanding of the automotive cybersecurity standard (ISO/SAE 21434) and Automotive Engineering principles
Experience with the creation of security documents, (e.g., Security Case, CIA, TARA, ATA, etc.)
ISO/SAE 21434 Certification is a plus
Knowledge of Requirements Management tools
Experience with Ansys Medini Analyze a plus.
Knowledge of the Products Development Life Cycle with respect to Systems, Electrical or Software Development.
Good technical leadership, planning and organization skills.
Self-motivated / self-starter with the ability to find creative solutions.
Experience with automotive requirements (e.g. AEC, FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, IATF16949 and VDA 6.3) is a plus.
Domestic and international travel will be required.
